The following contains an Office Checklist of what we would provide to make sure we don’t overlook when cleaning, as well as how often each task should be done. At the end of the day, it is important to have your Office is in good shape, and that the space itself feels clean and cared for.
Checklist for Cleaning Office Desks and Cubicles

Areas where People/Staff Sit and Work, like Desks, Cubicles, and Conference/Work Tables:

(Daily & Weekly)

  • Dust and Disinfect all Surfaces: Any/All Office Furniture such as Filing Cabinets, Desks, Computers, Shelves, Cubicles, Partitions, Etc. with a Microfiber Cloth that has been sprayed with a disinfectant solution.
  • Polish the surfaces of wooden furniture like tables, desks, chairs, etc. using furniture polish and Glass top furniture use glass cleaners to restore their shine.
  • Clean Streaks/Fingerprints off of all Interior Glass – Partitions, Mirrors, Windows, Doors, Etc.
  • Sweep and Mop any/all Wood Laminate/Tile, & Vacuum any/all Carpet, Rugs and door/chair mats, making sure to get along baseboards and corners
  • All Waste Paper Receptacles & Trashcans Emptied, Liners Replaced and Taken to Storage/Removal area or Designated area/Dumpster.

(Monthly)

  • Wipe accessories and electronics such as telephones, computers, monitors and keyboards, Door knobs, Light switches, etc. with a microfiber cloth after spraying it with water or disinfectant spray. You can also use germicidal disinfectant wipes.
  • Wipe down & Dust all Ceiling Vents, All Light Fixtures, Corners & Tops of Walls, Picture Frames, Mirrors, Shelves, Partitions, Baseboards, Doors and Door frames, Blinds, Windowsills, Etc. until No Dust or Spots can be seen.
  • Vacuum any Fabric Furniture and Damp Wipe any Leather/Vinyl Furniture.
Checklist for Cleaning for Office Kitchens and Break Rooms

The Kitchen / Breakroom in an office, get a lot of use & should be kept Clean and Tidy:

(Daily & Weekly)

  • Clean/Dust and Disinfect the Exterior of the Refrigerator, any Vending machines, Coffee Makers, Etc. from top to bottom.
  • Clean and Disinfect all Surfaces: Counters, Tables, Chairs, Cabinets, Sinks, Dispensers, Water Fountains, Light Switches, Door Knobs, Etc.
  • Clean and Disinfect the Inside and Outside of any Microwaves.
  • Wipe/Clean Walls around Trashcans of any Spills/Spots. Empty all Trashcans, Replace the liners & Take Trash to Designated area/Dumpster.
Checklist for Cleaning Office Reception and Waiting Areas

  • Dust and Clean off any Desk, waiting room Tables, Door knobs, Light switches, Ledges, Bookshelves, Displays, Etc. with a Microfiber Cloth that has been sprayed with a disinfectant solution.
  • Sanitize and Wipe down any Water Coolers or Fountains, and Replenish any water cups.
  • Tidy up any books or magazines that are left for visitors to read.
  • Clean/Wipe all Interior Glass removing any Spots, Streaks & Fingerprints.
  • Sanitize Inside & Out all Entrance/Exit Door Handles & Clean Door Glass of any Streaks, Smudges & Fingerprints.
  • All Waste Paper Receptacles & Trashcans Emptied, Liners Replaced and Taken to Storage/Removal area or Designated area/Dumpster.

Checklist for Cleaning Office Bathrooms

All bathrooms need regular cleaning and disinfecting, and the bathroom at your office is no exception. Here’s how to keep it safe, healthy, and sanitary.

(Daily & Weekly)

  • Clean and disinfect from top to bottom all Toilets, Urinals, Sinks, any Stalls/Tile Walls, any Showers, Etc.
  • Clean and Disinfect all hard surfaces of debris: Counters, Tables, Changing Tables, Light Switches, Door/Stall Knobs, Etc.
  • Replace empty toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls and soap dispensers.
  • Clean all Mirrors, Partitions & Polishing fixtures of spots and streaks.
  • Sweep and Clean the Floor of debris, & Mop with Disinfectant/Germicidal Solution.
  • Wipe/Clean Walls around Trashcans of any Spills/Spots. Empty all Trashcans, Replace the liners & Take Trash to Designated area/Dumpster.
Checklist for Cleaning the Area Outside Your Office

To keep the outside of your office inviting, we will make sure to Tidy-up:

(Daily & Weekly)

  • Sweep any leaves, branches, or debris near the front door.
  • Make sure welcome mats are cleaned off and in the right place.
  • Clean glass doors and window to make sure they are dirt and streak free and shiny.
  • Empty outdoor trashcans to avoid any smells or pests.
Floor Treatments:
  • Hardwood To keep your Hardwood floors in good condition, we recommend they be cleaned and refreshed every 6-12 months.
  • Laminate Over time, laminate floors can lose their shine so it’s important to polish these every few months. Due to dirt buildup and grime, that nice shine can easily fade so make sure you’re washing the floors at least once a week. Use a cleaning product designed for laminate floors to make them look brand new.
  • Ceramic Ceramic Tile floors can be polished every 1-4 months, but you must make sure you’re routinely mopping and sweeping. Polishing these types of floors restores the protective layers and it’s a quite quick and simple process.
  • Tile Depending on high foot traffic, you can buff floors Monthly. This will keep your floors looking new and shiny, which your employees and clients will appreciate. The more often you buff, the better the floor will look. In low traffic areas, you can buff every two or three months. We recommend creating a regular schedule of buffing to ensure your floors are always taken care of appropriately.
  • Carpet/Rugs It is recommends having your carpet professionally deep-cleaned every 12 to 18 months. This is the recommended frequency as a general guideline and can vary based on your particular circumstances, foot-traffic, and we also do offer Spot cleaning that can take care of a simple small areas if your Carpet does smell and look clean.
